SCREEN TYPES:

HD = 720P 19"-23"

FULL HD = 1080P 24" - 27"

2k = 1440P 27"-35"

4k = 2160P 27"- 37"

That all depends on what you can afford but an average guide:

720P Basic Gamer £500-£800

 1080P Gaming PC  £800- £1500

2k 1440P £1200 - £2500

4K Gaming 2160P  £1600 - £3000 

Absolutely not!

You pay a higher premium for brand names and asthetics so depending on your choices you could get a number of systems that cost twice as much as one that performs the same. It all comes down to the main hardware and your needs. It is very easy to overspend for what you need.

Again it depends on Your required Usage, You will need:

• Keyboard & Mouse (wired perform and react quicker)
• Mousemat
• Speakers
• Wifi Adaptor if not included

ADDITONAL

• Gamepad / joystick/ steering wheel for easier and more immersive gaming
• Webcam Essential for Virtual Meetings & Streaming
• Microphone - For Streaming
• Gaming Headset, Generally better clearer audio, less annyoing to others and able to chat with online players if you wish

are often pre-purchased in advance so don't always offer the latest technology, they use the most cost effective parts and often use cases and parts specially designed (proprietory) for their brand so cannot be replaced with off the shelf parts and are often restricted to what can be upgraded.

They are designed with basic functionality in mind. Often Airflow issues cause overheating and the bloatware (software) they put on often makes the pc not perform to its best.

We take the need out of all the research you tell us you needs and budget and we will design and build the best performing system we can for your money.

We dont make money on parts just charge a set labour fee for the build and test so often you will get more for your money.

If you go on any internet group page or forum to ask these questions you will be bombarded with opinions. about what performs best "80% of these opnions are based on 'Hear say'

If you go to a mainstream retailer the staff will either be incentivised or targeted to sell certain brands or won't have the full experience or knowlege to give you an independant view.

We build all our systems to meet at least recommended specs for all your needs, often way above that we look for them to last at least a few generations., so in terms of gaming most systems will be capable of running most games and software released within the next 2-5 years.

Unfortunatley there is no definitive answer as it all depends how technology and your needs change along with your maintainance schedule 

Any Item purchased from us can easily be upgraded using off the shelf parts as long as they are compatible with your system.

We can supply and guide you how to fit the updated parts or you can send the item to us for an upgrade or use any other Pc Shop, unless fitted by us the warranty will not cover any faults caused by or on the additional parts

we have 3 types of builds

1) Direct from pctechguy (message for quotes)

2) Parts only (system builder and select parts only) or message for quote

3) System Builder Builds (create you system and select order/quote) 

1) These systems come with a minimum of 24 months parts and labour, if the manufacturer of the parts offer a longer warranty then the parts will be covered by them if any fault occurs (registration of parts required). we also offer free tech support and remote assistance for the life of your system.

2) receipts will be provided with the parts and the manufacturers warranties will be covered by parts supplier.

3) Pcs ordered using our PC Builder tool are in partnership with Target and will come with a full 3 year collect and return parts and labour warranty direct with target, in addition to this we will also offer free tech support and remote assistance for the life of the system.

All systems are put through a number of stress tests and benchmarks for reliability before being sent out. All systems from target are built under the direction of our team also.
